Work With an AI Practitioner Who Ships
Here's exactly what working with me looks like. Three formats — pick the one that fits your situation.
Technical Advisor Equity / Retainer
This is for you if... you're building an AI product and need a practitioner who has shipped production systems — not just used the APIs — to pressure-test your architecture, challenge your assumptions, and accelerate decisions.
What Neil brings: 7+ years of production AI experience across LLMs, computer vision, and MLOps. Honest feedback, not cheerleading. Access to his network of ML practitioners and enterprise buyers.
What you contribute: The problem worth solving, a team willing to be challenged, and the context to make advice actionable.
Time commitment: 2–4 hours/month (1 strategy call + async Slack/email). Structured as a 3-month initial commitment.
Guest Contributor / Beta Tester Trade
This is for you if... you've built an AI tool and want honest practitioner feedback from someone who'll actually use it in real workflows — plus a write-up and cross-promotion to a relevant audience.
What Neil brings: A genuine attempt to integrate your tool into a real project. An honest write-up published on his Substack and blog (no paid placements — only tools he'd recommend). Cross-promotion to 120+ LinkedIn mentees and newsletter subscribers.
What you contribute: Full access to your tool (paid tier if relevant). A contact at your team for technical questions. Openness to honest feedback, including limitations.
Time commitment: 2–4 weeks for the trial and write-up. Neil publishes what he finds — no approval needed.
Co-creator Shared Upside
This is for you if... you want to build something together — a template library, a practical AI playbook, a short course, or a tool — and share both the work and the audience it reaches.
What Neil brings: Practitioner expertise, writing, and an audience of enterprise AI practitioners and aspiring ML engineers. The ability to build things quickly and publish them properly.
What you contribute: Your domain expertise, a complementary audience, and co-ownership of the output.
Time commitment: Scoped per project — typically 4–8 weeks of active collaboration.
